In the last month or so, life has changed dramatically for me and steered me on a course of life that I never dreamed or imagined. I have been in the UK for the last 1.5 years on a Working Holidaymaker visa which is a scheme set up by the UK Home Office to afford Commonwealth citizens to come to the UK and work for up to 12 months while on an extended vacation ..yeah right. So I came to the UK to support and be with my sister who is at university and three months after my arrival and close to to bankruptcy I found a job with the US telecom giant, Sprint. I've spent the last year there and as time approached the 12 month mark I informed them that if they would like to keep me on as an employee some change of status would have to be enacted. Through time this did not work due to organisational stumbling blocks but in February of this year I had started looking at programmes worldwide that would allow me to finish my postgraduate education and I submitted an application to the University of Kalmar's Baltic Business School to do the Masters in Leadership and International Management - a one year programme.
Shortly after being informed that the work extension being sought by Sprint would not pan out, I received an email from the school informing me that I had been accepted to the programme and needed to reply by the end of the week if I am interested in accepting the position offered.

So, I was faced with this decision and as the programme is one year and I would like to do it , I accepted the position and will head to Sweden in August hopefully
